The programme for the 62nd Andorra la Vella theatre season includes two works that adapt great classics. Firstly, on Thursday 2nd March at 20:30, 'Desire. A Streetcar', an adaptation of 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. The second event will take place on Thursday 20th April at the same time, with Xavier Simonin's adaptation of John Steinbeck's 'Les Raisins de la colère'. Both performances will take place at the Theatre Communal in the capital.
The first show, directed by Paul Berrondo, features the Andorran actress Maria Lanau, who deals with issues such as male violence, mental health and social class prejudice. The second spectacle deals with issues such as the ecological disaster, the economic crisis, migration and social violence.
Tickets, priced at 20 euros, are already on sale and can be purchased on the Andorra la Vella community website, at the La Llacuna Cultural Centre and at the Tourist Office in the Plaça de la Rotonda.
