Estanyó's Peak, in the heights of Ordino

At 2,915 meters high, the Estanyó's peak is Andorra's second highest mountain. It is located in the parish of Ordino, within the Sorteny Valley's Natural Park, a territory declared a Biosphere Reserve since October 2020. The route is 11.7 kilometers long and has an elevation of 1,175, which can be completed in 4 or 5 hours. The first part of the path runs along a wide track until you reach a sign indicating the path to the peak. A few minutes later, we find the first section presenting some difficulty, which goes into the forest.

At this point, the path will take us to the Estanyó's lake and the path will continue along the left. From this point, the path begins to gain elevation until it reaches its peak, so throughout the stretch we can enjoy spectacular views.

The access to the Sorteny Valley's Natural Park is on the CS-370 road, which is accessed from the CG-3 road in the direction of Ordino-Arcalís, a few meters after passing the village of Serrat. The parking has a cost of 4 euros, but you can also reach it by bus, from Ordino every 30 minutes for only 20 cents.
