The Encamp commune has begun a new action of beautification and recovery of historical memory through the artistic works of Samantha Bosque. Specifically, the doors and façades of the traditional centre of La Mosquera will feature a dozen murals, inspired by existing photographs, which will reflect the real life and history of the different sites where they will be located.
The work began this week and will take about two months, so it is expected to be completed during the summer. The council, in addition to agreeing the initiative with the residents, has invested 10,000 euros to make it a reality. The councillor for Tourism and Economic Reactivation, Nino Marot, declared that the aim is to "enhance the value of heritage, recover historical memory and make it attractive to residents and visitors through art".
