Iron production was one of the most developed labor activities in Andorra between the 17th and 19th centuries.
Today, we can learn about much of the history and tradition of this sector because of the Farga Rossell Interpretation Centre, which is located in La Massana. The center gathers the processes of transformation of iron ore into ingots and recalls its commercialization in the markets of Catalonia. On top of that, Farga is now part of the iron route, which has been included in the European Industrial Heritage Route.
