L'Ovella Negra: gastronomy with personality in the Incles Valley

Andorra captivates us with places full of charm and diversity, where it is possible to connect with nature and an uncountable number of options on each visit, whether for tourism or to disconnect from the routine.


The Incles Valley in the parish of Canillo is one of the best examples of the natural and architectural wealth of the principality, where we can find important points of interest such as El Refugi de Juclar, the Estany of Siscaró, the Cabana Sorda lake or the Granvalira Resorts slopes.


At the end of this attractive and charming valley is L'Ovella Negra, an exclusive mountain boutique hotel that highlights the best of Andorra's culinary essence in its three gastronomic spaces.

Each with a different personality and a proposal: The Lodge restaurant, the Xiringuito d'estiu, and the Cabana d'hivern. 

The Lodge is the most sophisticated restaurant of the hotel, where the chef will delight us with a delicious culinary proposal in the best mountain style, in a quiet and comforting space next to the imposing fireplace. Access to the restaurant

is closed during the winter, which makes it essential to book in advance to guarantee the pick-up service at the entrance to the Valley with the retrac (snow crawler).

This area is available from Thursday evening to Sunday lunchtime, during the winter months (December to April), June and October. It is closed during November and May.



At the Xiringuito d'estiu, you can enjoy a more informal proposal during the summer midday, with simple preparations in a unique natural setting that invites you to relax after a day's walk. For those who are just passing through, you can also order cold drinks at the little window to drink in the garden before continuing your route, or a few coffees to take away.



 During the winter months the Xiringuito d'estiu becomes La Cabana d'hivern. It is an ideal place to enjoy a tasty vermouth or snack during the winter midday. It has a small indoor lounge with a pellet machine for the coldest days, where you can warm up with a good broth or mulled wine. It also has long tables and a fogaina on the terrace, ideal for sharing a good laugh with some cold meats and cheeses while enjoying the views. It is available every weekend in winter, from 12 to 17h.
